Yesterday evening, as you all probably know at this stage, Government announced that Ireland is to move to Level 5 for the next six weeks from Wednesday night.

It is a difficult time for everyone. But, with Christmas just two months away, it will only add to the worries of parents looking to make sure that they have presents under the tree on December 25th

At Level five all non-essential retail would have to close. This includes toy shops, clothes shops, bookshops and other similar stores.

Are you a parent who is worried about the festive season? Maybe you have already made a trip to the toy shop since the Taoiseach’s announcement? What was that experience like?

Clare McKenna spoke to many listeners with their views.
