Police are looking for any witnesses to an incident that took place at Drumcannon in Waterford just before 8 a.m. on Friday January 22th.

A woman in her 40's was travelling alone when she heard a loud bang after something hit her car.

The woman was traumatised and suffered non-serious injuries.

Property was taken from the vehicle during the ordeal.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact them at Tramore Garda Station on (051) 391 620.
