Today
Misty in places at first. Warm and humid in the midlands and east today with some hazy sunny spells at times but cloudy periods also and there is a risk of some thundery showers breaking out towards evening.
It will be cooler and cloudy in the west with scattered outbreaks of rain, mostly in coastal areas at first but spreading inland this afternoon, turning heavy in places. Patches of sea fog may linger on some coasts. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in the west, 22 to 25 degrees further east.
Tonight
Showery rain in places for a time tonight, locally heavy with a risk of thunder, but clearing many areas overnight. Still humid in the east but fresher in the west. Overnight lows of 11 to 15 degrees.
