Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures have finally released the first full trailer for Steve Jobs, the Oscar-baiting biopic of the legendary difficult genius creator of Apple. The film is set for release on Friday, October 9th.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle, working off a script by the Oscar-winning writer of The Social Network (Aaron Sorkin), the film examines Jobs’ notoriously bombastic managerial style by taking a look behind the scenes at three iconic product launches delivered by the tech giant.
Irish actor Michael Fassbender plays the pioneering founder of Apple, with support from Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, who was once the marketing chief executive of Macintosh. Seth Rogen plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Jeff Daniels is former Apple CEO John Sculley.
