The first footage from Jason Bourne, the fifth film in the Bourne spy franchise that sees Matt Damon return to the series since 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum, debuted as a 30-second spot during yesterday’s Super Bowl, showcasing Paul Greengrass’s direction and Damon’s physical performance.

Nearly 15 years after first taking on the role in the spy series credited with redefining the entire movie genre, Damon has clearly been hitting the gym, with the short video revealing a first glimpse at the action-packed sequel. Co-starring Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones, the film won’t hit cinemas until July 29^th, but if it packs as much punch as the teaser, fans are in for a treat.
