It will become mainly dry as the day goes on, though a spell of persistent rain may affect southern parts of Munster in the afternoon.
Away from southern coasts a few sunny spells will develop later in the day.
Staying cool but with only light, variable or southeasterly breezes. Highest temperatures 6 to 9 degrees.

Many places dry tonight with clear spells but continuing cloudy near southwest coasts with further patches of light rain and drizzle.
Frost will develop in many inland parts.
Lowest temperatures between -2 and +2 degrees, but milder in the southwest.
Southeast winds will be mostly light to moderate.
