Michael Fitzgerald, of Cloughnadromin, Ballysimon, was charged with assault causing harm and was remanded in custody with consent to bail.

A 15-year old boy was charged with stealing the victim’s wife’s handbag.

He’s been remanded to Oberstown Detention Centre until October 16th.
