Showery outbreaks of rain will continue to affect parts of Ulster and Leinster this morning but the rest of the country will get off to a dry start.
Showers will become more widespread this afternoon but Munster and south-Connacht will continue to have good dry periods.
Highs of 10 to 14 degrees in light breezes.
It will be generally dry and clear overnight.
Cool with lows of 1 to 3 degrees and grass frost in places.
Fog patches will develop in the calm conditions.
