Three people are due to appear before a Special Court sitting of Drogheda District Court tomorrow morning in connection with a drugs seizure in county Louth.
Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau intercepted two UK registered vehicles on the M1 motorway just south of the border.
Heroin with an estimated street value of €210,000 was seized, and three people were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Two males aged 41 and 24 and one female aged 30 are due to appear in court tomorrow at 11:45am.
Follow up searches were conducted on both sides of the border following this joint investigation.
