It’s been labelled the “wedding of the century”, with the eyes of millions on New York City as Taylor Swift marries Travis Kelce.
Although not officially confirmed, friends of the world’s most famous couple have been seen in the city that never sleeps and a number of black SUVs have been spotted rolling into Madison Square Garden.
It is understood that the couple got married yesterday and are celebrating with friends today.
It's a love story
The couple met after Travis announced on his podcast in 2023 that he would like to date Taylor Swift - not an uncommon sentiment, it must be said.
A few months later, Taylor was spotted watching him play football for his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last year, the couple announced to the world in an Instagram post that, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
11 months later and Newstalk’s own Henry McKean outside the alleged wedding venue in Madison Square Garden, sweltering in nearly 40°C heat.
“All day they've been delivering things, but they've actually coated them in black tape,” he revealed on Newstalk Breakfast.
“So, it's really hard to see; up to 10 forklift trucks and lots and lots of Swifties.
“It's the countdown now - perhaps, this will be the wedding of the century.”

They pair are best friends from High School and feel they have both grown up watching her.
Such is the hype in New York that large parts of the city have been cordoned off to facilitate the event. It is not something that concerns the friends.
“Luckily we're not driving,” they said.
“We're taking the subway anyways. Who cares? I don't care if the roads are closed.
“If that means it makes Taylor Swift happy, that's okay.”
The pair love the “iconic” pop star because - like so many other young women - they feel she has a unique ability to understand what they are going through and turn it into music.
“She's written so many songs that have meant so much to me and throughout the years, whenever I'm having any sort of feelings, she normally has a song that relates to that and it just really can be a very helpful thing,” they said.

Reporter Hayley Sims was also enthused about covering what she called the “wedding of our generation”.
“I think she is American royalty; she is an icon in every way,” she explained.
“Talented musician, feminist, just through and through badass woman and it's beautiful to see that she's met somebody who makes her so happy.”
