A second prisoner, who escaped from a U.S. jail 3 weeks ago has been re-arrested.
David Sweat was shot by police near the Canadian border this evening and taken into custody. He is believed to be injured but his condition is stable and non-life threatening.
Sweat was spotted walking along a road and was confronted by police officers.

A fellow inmate Richard Matt, who was also on the run for 3 weeks, was shot dead on Friday night.
The 22-day manhunt for both convicted murderers involved 1,600 law enforcement personnel.
