Today

Dry in many areas for a time this morning.

Persistent rain in the west will spread eastwards to all areas by early afternoon.

Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow from the west with the rain clearing from the east coast in the late evening.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with moderate to fresh southeast winds.

Tonight

Early tonight, any lingering rain along the east coast will clear.

The night will be mainly dry in the midlands and east with clear spells and some patches of mist and fog.

However, showers will develop in the west and north. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Tomorrow

On Sunday morning, any showers in the west and north will die out.

It will be mainly dry with sunny spells.

However, rain will develop in the southwest during the evening.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with moderate west to northwest breezes, later backing southerly in the west.
