Rapper A$AP Rocky has been charged with assault over a fight in Sweden last month.
Charges were filed against the rapper and two others after Swedish prosecutor Daniel Suneson said he had "come to the conclusion that the events in question constitute a crime despite claims of self-defence and provocation".
The US music star has been in custody since July 3rd while being investigated over the incident in Stockholm, which happened before an appearance at a music festival there.
It ultimately saw him miss out on performing at the Longitude Festival in Dublin earlier this month.
The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was due to headline the main stage.
However he was replaced at the last minute by another rapper - Ski Mask The Slump God.
Celebrities and fellow rappers have called for the star's release and a petition received thousands of signatures.
His lawyer says the alleged incident in the Swedish capital was a "self-defence situation".
Prosecutors earlier dropped their investigation into a man believed to be involved in the fight with the rapper.
His detention has also caught the attention of US President Donald Trump.
He earlier said he had spoken to fellow rapper Kanye West "about his friend A$AP Rocky's incarceration".
"I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky.
"So many people would like to see this quickly resolved", he claimed.
