Over 200 new jobs are set to be created at separate businesses in Dublin and Tipperary.
A new nursing home based in north-west Dublin is to create over 140 jobs.
The new home, Ardmore Lodge, was officially opened by Health Minister Leo Varadkar.
It will initially accommodate 89 residents - with an additional 40 residents being cared for into the future.
A planned extension is set to commence later this year.
The new nursing home, known formerly as the Ardmore Hotel, is located on Finglas Road in the Tolka Valley.
While clinical diagnostics firm Technopath is investing €5m to more than treble its manufacturing capacity in Ballina, Co Tipperary.
This will see a significant expansion in manufacturing capacity for its products, which are used in over 5,000 laboratories in 110 countries globally.
The expanded facility will result in the creation of 60 new jobs over the next two years, with hiring already underway.
It will bring total employment numbers on site to 180, and was officially opened by Environment Minister Alan Kelly.
