Two men arrested this morning in relation to a debs night car crash in Monaghan have been released. 

Seventeen-year-old Kiea McCann and 16-year-old Dlava Mohamed died on July 31st after the car they were travelling in hit a tree on the N54 in Legnakelly.

The pair had planned on attending Largy College debs that evening.

Two other teenage passengers and the driver of the car were also injured in the crash.

Gardaí will now send a file in relation to the case to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
