A minute’s silence is to be held at 3.15 today to remember the victims of the Creeslough tragedy.

One week ago today, 10 people were killed by an explosion at a local petrol station and the community has been coming to terms with the loss of life ever since.

In St Michael's Church, Creeslough, a mass will take place to remember all those who died and pray for those who are injured.

“It is so very important that you and I and all who are immediately and most affected by this tragedy, that we avail of the helps that are being made available to us,” Fr John Joe Duffy said.

“We need the continued embrace of this country and beyond it.”
