Ukraine's emergency services are continuing to work through towns and areas as Russia pulls back.

This includes clearing away ammunition and any explosive devices that may have been left behind.

One such member has become somewhat of an internet sensation - for being a dog.

The Russell terrier even has his own uniform with an emblem attached as he carries out his work.

In the video, the dog can be seen alerting his handler and scratching at the ground in a wooded area.

The handler then carries an item back to the team vehicle.

Posting on social media, the emergency services say he is helping pyrotechnicians in the Chernihiv region to clear explosive devices left by Russian troops.

"The little dog reminds of the great danger... every time someone does not follow the rules", they say.

They are also reminding people to "be aware and look under your feet".
