A person has been rescued after falling from the cliffs at Balscadden in North Dublin.
Howth Coast Guard were called to the scene shortly after 4pm this afternoon, where they found a person had fallen about 10 metres to the bottom of the cliffs.
The Howth life boat was launched immediately to provide assistance, while a secure cliff line was set up.

Four members of the Coast Guard team were lowered to the position to provide medical assistance.
The casualty was the transfered back to the lifeboat station in Howth Harbour, where he was transported by ambulance to hospital.
