Further remains were discovered in follow-up searches in the water in Sallins.

48-year-old Paul Wells from Barnamore Park in Finglas has been charged with Kenneth’s murder.

Garda Sergeant Gerard Moore told the judge that bail ‘was not an option’ in the district court - as it can only be dealt with at the High Court.

Paul Wells was further remanded in custody and he is due back in court on the 16th March.
