Only yesterday it was confirmed that LCD Soundsystem would be joining Guns 'N' Roses and Calvin Harris as the headlines for the Coachella festival in the desert just outside of California this April.
However, far from it being just a reunion tour, the band's front-man James Murphy took to Facebook to spell out the band's future, which includes a worldwide tour and a new album, due to arrive sometime this year.
While the band's last album was released in 2010, with the last gig performed in 2011, Murphy has been keeping very busy since then, including production work on Arcade Fire's 2013 album Reflektor and making an appearance on David Bowie's new album Blackstar.
