The Daily Show host, Jon Stewart, has reacted as expected over American billionaire, Donald Trump's announcement that he would be running for presidency.

Stewart, who's ending his run as host of the show in six weeks, thanked Trump for 'making my last six weeks my best six weeks'.

Stewart went out to Daily Show reporters who reacted in a similar satirical manner, each of whom expressing delight at the news of Trump's decision to run.

Steward joked: "He is putting me in some kind of comedy hospice, where all I’m getting is just straight morphine."
