Newstalk has received 27 nominations for the 2025 IMRO Radio Awards.
The station’s coverage of last year’s General Election has been shortlisted in the News Story category.
While The Pat Kenny Show and The Hard Shoulder have both been nominated in the Current Affairs Programme category.
Sarah Madden’s Can You Hear Me? Dispatches from The World's Forgotten War about Sudan has been nominated in the Documentary category.
Henry McKeen, Josh Crosbie and Seán Defoe have all been nominated in the category of News Reporter of the Year.

Meanwhile, Pat Kenny, Andrea Gilligan and Seán Moncrieff will go head to head in the category of Speech Broadcaster of the Year.
Jessica Woodlock has also been nominated for The Gay Byrne Award - Newcomer of the Year.
IMRO Radio Awards Chairperson Chris Doyle described himself as “thrilled to reveal the shortlist for the 2025 IMRO Radio Awards”.
“This year saw a record number of entries, a testament to the strength, creativity, and passion within Irish radio,” he said.
