It should come as no surprise to anyone in the month of January that spending time with drunk people can be a tiresome experience if you are sober. Even worse if you’re on the clock and that clock is counting down to midnight on one of the biggest party nights of the year. And that’s the message to take from the following video, a series of vignettes captured by a Canadian bouncer in London, Ontario.

In the nine-minute clip, a polite and direct Peter Williams encounters drunk revellers telling bare-faced porkies, scheming merrymakers hatching a plan to get past him into the club, and people whose heated fury is matched by their stupidity when it comes to dressing appropriately for a Canadian winter’s night. All of whom think they can slurringly sweet talk their way inside – when they have zero chance of getting past Williams.
