Sinn Fein have proposed, once again, that the Special Criminal Court should be abolished.

In response, former Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern, on the Right Hook this evening, defended the court, saying we don't live in a 'normal society' where we 'could rely on the ordinary courts'.

He also refuted any suggestions from anyone, including Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, that there is no underworld.
