Gardaí seized heroin and cocaine worth half a million euro in West Dublin yesterday evening.
One man (24) has been arrested.
Three kilos of heroin and one kilo of cocaine were discovered after officers from the Ronanstown Drugs Unit searched a house in Clondalkin.
Other material including what is believed to be mixing agent (analysis pending) was also seized during the operation.
The raid was part of a garda operation targeting drug trafficking involving organised gangs in that part of the capital.
Gardaí will have the drugs analysed, but pending confirmation, they say they believe the drugs have a street value of €500,000.
The suspect is being held at Ronanstown garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
