Gardaí have arrested five people and seized a firearm as part of Operation Thor.
Searches were carried out at premises and lands at Moyne Park, Baldoyle this morning by gardaí from the DMR North Division.
During the searches, a large amount of cash was seized, as well as a firearm and a quantity of suspected stolen property
Four men - aged in their early 20s to early 40s - and one woman in her late 20s were arrested.
One man was charged and appeared before District Court 4 at the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon. He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on 21st January.
Two of the men and the woman were brought before the District Court on unrelated matters. The fourth man has been released without charge.
Operation Thor is the special national Garda anti-crime programme.
