Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a 62-year-old cyclist died in a hit and run in Dublin yesterday.
The crash happened on the Clontarf road at the junction with Howth Road on the North side of the city at around half six yesterday.
The car involved, described by witnesses as a silver coloured Volkswagen Golf, failed to remain at the scene.
Gardaí recovered a similar car a short time later in Marino. It has been seized for a technical and forensic examination.
