Rise and Shine is a series of photographs and interviews created by the photographer Hannah Whitaker and the journalist Malia Wollan. It documents that children are eating for breakfast around the world, showing the vast differences in cultural, financial, social, and culinary tastes among moppets munching in Japan, Turkey, Iceland, and elsewhere. 

It's an interesting break from a bowl of porridge and a soft-boiled egg, anyway. Check out the images below:
