Four people are missing after being buried in an avalanche near Bovernier in the Swiss Alps.

The group were hit at an altitude of 9,200ft near the borders with France and Italy on Sunday morning.

Rescue teams are currently on the scene looking for the missing people.

On Saturday, one person was killed after getting caught in an avalanche in Austria.
