Some of Ireland's finest film & television talent will be hoping to walk away with awards at tonight's Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles.
Irish writer Emma Donoghue has been nominated for her script for Room (adapted from her own novel) while actress Saoirse Ronan is up for an award for her performance in Brooklyn.
Actor Michael Fassbender is nominated for the title role in Steve Jobs, for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
Meanwhile, Irish actress Caitriona Balfe is nominated for her role as Claire Beauchamp in Outlander in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Drama category.
Room - the latest film from Irish director Lenny Abrahamson - is also nominated for Best Motion Picture Drama, and American actress Brie Larson is up for her role in the film.
The Golden Globes is seen as one of the major 'awards season' ceremonies in the US. The awards are also considered an early indicator of what films may enjoy Oscar success next month.
Acclaimed romance Carol is nominated in five categories, while Steve Jobs, The Big Short and The Revenant have four nominations each.
In the TV categories, six shows have three nominations each - American Crime, Fargo, Mr Robot, Outlander, Transparent and Wolf Hall.
