A body found off the coast of Donegal this morning has been identified as a missing soldier. 

Gavin 'Care Bear' Carey - an Army Corporal from Mullingar - had been missing since Tuesday evening.

He got into difficulty while out swimming with other soldiers off Tullan Strand, near Bundoran.

A man who stabbed a priest and attempted to cause an explosion in an Indonesian church is in custody after being chased down by the congregation.

Images have emerged of the suspected terror attacker lying bloodied on the ground after churchgoers held him for police.

He had reportedly sat with other worshippers in the church, before setting off a small explosion and rushing forward to attack the priest.

41 cases of locally-transmitted Zika have been confirmed in Singapore.

The virus has been spreading across Latin American countries since the start of this year.

In a statement today, Singapore's National Environment Agency said it expected to confirm more cases in the coming days.

Republican vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence is following the lead of Donald Trump and his hard-line stance on immigration.

In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union", Pence said: "There will be no path to legalization, no path to citizenship. People who want to gain legal status - you heard Donald Trump say again and again - will have to leave this country".

He was referring to undocumented immigrants, including those whose visas expire but who remain in the country.
