Last week Google celebrated the 129th birthday of Swiss psychoanalyst Hermann Rorschach by putting his famous Rorschach Test on their homepage. 

The test was devised in an attempt to unearth people’s mental state and thoughts. Depending on what you saw in the corresponding inkblots it was believed your personality could be mapped.

In later years it has come to be debunked by psychologists and neuroscientists. This week on the show - Sat 16th November 10am - we’ll be looking at the neuroscience of the test and what our brain does when we see shapes we don’t immediately recognise.
