When it comes to surfing the web, it's easy to get lost at sea. So let Moncrieff's regular guest Darragh Doyle, a man who knows a thing or two about what's weird and wonderful online, steer you in the right direction.

You can listen back to his full segment below, but here's what you need to know from the Internet this week...

On the off chance you weren’t online this weekend, that’s Viper Higgins, better known from the Hardy Bucks, who has a problem with Adele. Poor Adele. Releases her first single in years and has Lionel RichieLiam NeesonLady Gaga and more ringing her, for a chat. Oh, the internet.

Like to work at a big company but fed up of recruitment processes? This new start-up, based in Ireland can help. Simply, you just sign up on their website as a jobseeker, list all the relevant info and skills you have and then if your skills match something that the company is looking for, you will be referred. Ah, but referred by who?

Well, refer me please allows you to target referrers in companies and say “please refer me for this job”. Think of it as knowing someone on the inside. Most companies have existing schemes in place for employees, and employees generally know when a job is available.

Find cheap flights to the desitnations you want if you’re flexible about travelling. Plannng a holiday but don’t know the dates just yet? You know you want to go away though. Well Fareness.com can help.

Put in where you’re going from, roughly when you’re travelling - you can be specific and then you can choose a month or months (January to March for example), approximately how long you want to go for and the site does the rest.

For those who heard that last week it was revealed that scientists in Michigan have discovered that cheese contains a chemical found in addictive drugs, explaining why people can find it so hard to put down, comes CheesePosties.com

UK based for now but if you use ParcelMotel here in Ireland, you can order too. You can also give them as gifts. It’s a subscription service where you can get all the ingredients for a grilled cheese sandwich delivered through your letterbox - within 2 days of ordering it - along with instructions on how to make the sandwich.

Every day over three billion searches take place on Google and they track them all. For those in the USA, theu’ve created Frightgeist, a website to show what the most popular costume searches are city by city or locally - so you can get a great costume, or avoid wearing what everyone else has!

The top searched for costumes in the US this year are: Harley Quinn / StarWars / SuperHeroes / Pirates / Batman

But there’s an interactive map that shows in Michighan it’s Daenerys Targaryen, in Idaho it’s Tinkerbell and in Ohio it’s Darth Vader. A good way to waste time and pick up some costume ideas at the same time. For Irish people, The Costume Shop is probably the biggest and busiest website in the country this week.

  • And finally...

Possibly the most relaxing and beautiful cooking recipe video - at least for Miso Ramen - that you will ever see:
