When it comes to surfing the web, it's easy to get lost at sea. So let Moncrieff's regular guest Darragh Doyle, a man who knows a thing or two about what's weird and wonderful online, steer you in the right direction.

You can listen back to his full segment below, but here's what you need to know from the Internet this week...

  • The opening video

The Kid Trotter is a five-year-old (half French/half Irish) girl called Enya who travels all over the world her little pink (kick) scooter. She loves to travel. Having heard so much from her mom and dad about their travels, and having been initiated to globe trotting from a very young age, she regularly asks her mom and dad to travel more…

She has already travelled throughout France, Ireland, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Canada and Vietnam.

You can follow their blog and vlogs on http://www.thekidtrotter.com

  • Facebook Memories – don’t see what you don’t want to see

You can choose which memories you don’t want to see on Facebook - whether it’s loved ones who have died, exes or just not happy occasions, you can block them from being shown on your screen.

Y’know, like that awful Christmas party. Or your Leaving Cert. Never again.

  • Instant - Track all your activities automatically

Do you want to know how much time you spend on or with your phone? Instant will tell you.

Instant works seamlessly in the background tracking how much time you spend on your device/apps everyday, how much you walk, how much you travel & how many times you unlocked your device. Additionally reminders can be set according to your daily limit. Available on Apple and Android.

Forest is an app helping you put down your phone and focus on what's more important in your life

Whenever you want to focus on your work, plant a tree. In the next 30 mins, it will grow when you are working. The tree will be killed if you leave this app.

Think of forest like a Tomagatchi for focus. Open the app and click the timer to start growing your tree. If you bail, it dies. Last the whole half hour and you can add your tree to a field, which becomes a little grove, and eventually (you guessed it), a forest.

Well, imaginatively (ahem) named and using mathematics, this will tell you the probable song you were conceived to, if born after January 1 1959.

Enter your date of birth and what chart you want - country, the top 100 or Latin and hey presto, you get the song. Or at least what was number one in America at the time. I was possibly conceived to You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone.

But it will be tomorrow!

  • And finally...

Two small Asian kids, Jeffrey Li, aged 10 and Celine Tam aged 7, singing You Raise Me Up (lyrics by Brendan Graham) on a Chinese TV show (Hunan Province). If for nothing else, watch for that instrumental break in the middle.
