A dissident republican from Tyrone has been identified by gardai as one of the gunmen who carried out a shooting at a boxing match weigh-in at a Dublin hotel earlier this month.
According to the Irish edition of The Sunday Times, police have identified two of the six gunmen who shot David Byrne dead and wounded two other men, after they were photographed by journalists while leaving the hotel.
One is a Continuity IRA member from Tyrone, and another a known Dublin criminal.
The funeral of David Byrne is taking place tomorrow in Crumlin, and it is likely to feature a heavy garda presence.
