The winter transfer window closed on Tuesday night, with clubs hoping to get some last-minute deals done for the second half of the season.

Three Irish internationals sealed moves, with Robbie Brady's return to the Premier League, the highlight for Irish fans. The Dubliner has joined Burnley on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed club-record fee.

While the likes of Brady, along with Marc Wilson and Conor Sammon sealed moves, one of the most intriguing deals was only announced after midnight. Jack Byrne, the Ireland Under-21 international has joined Wigan on a permanetn deal from Manchester City. The Dubliner spent the first half of the season at Blackburn on loan.
