Wexford lead Meath by just one point at half-time in the first of today’s Leinster SFC semi-finals.
Wexford had opened up a four point gap, with a series of unanswered points, before Meath replied with three of their own through Graham Reilly, Eamonn Wallace and Peadar Byrne, late in the half.
Ben Brosnan missed a late free and the chance to give Wexford some breathing space heading into the dressing room.
