Arsene Wenger refused to get drawn on questions regarding his relationship with Jose Mourinho ahead of their game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The two men did not shake hands after Arsenal's 1-0 victory against Chelsea in the Community Shield in August and Wenger did not want to reflect on whether they would shake hands this time around.

He said, "I don't want to talk about that, I have nothing more to say about this situation."

While the pair clearly have issues stemming from Mourinho's 2014 jab at the Arsenal manager referring to him as a "specialist in failure", Wenger believes that what happens on the sideline is secondary to the action on the field.

"I respect everybody in the job and focus on what I love and that is football. All the rest honestly does not concern me much. Realistically people come to watch football and all the rest is a little bit secondary. What is important is the quality of what we will see tomorrow morning at 12.45 and you want people to focus on that."

Wenger certainly has a point as a loss for Chelsea could result in Mourinho losing his job as speculation grows regarding his future.

They have lost three of their opening five games, lie 17th in the league and are conceding more goals per game than at any point under Moruinho in the past.

Wenger might not shake Mourinho's hand but he could very well be the man responible for getting Mourinho sacked ffrom the London club for a second time.
