Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny is hopeful that the club can keep the bulk of their all-conquering side together.

The Louth club retained the League of Ireland Premier Division with three games to spare and are in with a chance for a double this season should they win the FAI Cup.

Success could be a double-edged sword though if clubs in England take an interest in some of their prized assets.

"They are like a family, they love playing and training together. You can see the joy they have when they play," said Kenny of his players on Off The Ball tonight.

"So they wouldn't leave lightly. Obviously everyone is different. Every individual has a different viewpoint and everyone's personal circumstances are different. Certainly, we'll have to wait and see. I really don't know. We could lose some players but I'd be hopeful we'd keep the vast majority."

Kenny also talked about what the next steps for the club might be as they sit at the summit of Irish soccer.
