Santa Claus is so famous in Finland that he has has a team named after him.

FC Santa Claus play in the Finnish third tier and were founded in 1993 after local sides Rovaniemen Reipas and Rovaniemen Lappi amalgamated.

The excellent Copa 90, who previously covered a Dublin Derby between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers and travelled to Lapland to meet the most festive team in the World.

The rumours of Santa Claus lining out for the team after Christmas are yet unfounded.
