For those who are less than a quarter of a century old, Ruud Gullit's punditry and managerial career will have played a more prominent role in the memory bank.

But as the former Chelsea and Newcastle boss joins us on Off The Ball for a studio interview tomorrow, it's worth remind ourselves of a talent that glittered from the mid-80s to the mid-90s.

Some of you may have seen his slick goal against Ireland at Italia 90 or the glorious header that was overshadowed by that Marco van Basten volley header for the ages against USSR in the Euro 88 final.

But that is just the tip of an iceberg that also glistened at AC Milan, where he was part of a formidable Dutch trio alongside Van Basten and Frank Rijkaard, that dominated European and Italian football in the late '80s and early '90s, before moving to Sampdoria in 1993.
