The Nedbank Golf Challenge is currently underway at the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, South Africa.
With a total of $7 million dollars to play for, the tournament has attracted a top field as the European tour draws to a close.
The overnight lead was shared by Felipe Aguilar, Jeunghun Wang and Ross Fisher on four under par.
Open Champion Henrik Stenson sits a shot further back along with Chris Wood, Alex Noren, Victor Dubuisson, Richie Ramsey and local favourites George Coetzee and Jaco Van Zyl.

However, a mob of mongooses became an extra hazard on the par three sixteenth when they interrupted play and ran across the green. Thankfully though, they didn't interfere with any ball in play and the round continued.

Elsewhere, Ireland's Padraig Harrington endured a tough first round posting a four over total of 76, leaving him eight shots off the lead before the start of play today.
He is desperate to finish his season off on a high and claim enough world ranking points to earn an invitation to the US Masters at Augusta next year.
