Spending an extended period of time getting punched in the head can mean that you're not quite thinking at 100%, which is what appeared to happen to Benny Madrid this weekend. 

After winning his fight against Jeff Fletcher by submission at the World Series of Fighting, he had what could charitably be described as a slip of the tongue when he thanked both his wife and his girlfriend for their support. 

However, it's not all as sordid as it seems, as it turns out that they are one in the same woman. He's currently engaged to his girlfriend, so she will be come his wife, and clearly just blanked on the word fiancee.

Understandable, again because of all the punches.
