For those of you not paying attention to the third tier of German football, then you might have missed an early contender for the goal of the season.

Rot-Weiss Erfurt’s Carsten Kammlott slammed home an incredible equaliser in the form of a scorpion kick last night against league leaders Dynamo Dresden, and has been getting plenty of attention online as a result. 

Kammlott's goal turned out to be only a brief moment of celebration in the game for Erfurt however, as they went on to lose 3-1, with Dresden showing that their early form in the league so far has not been a fluke.

Still, their one goal was pretty fantastic.
