Between the hours of 12pm and 6pm on a Saturday, Jeff Stelling is indisposed and is busy at work for Sky Sports.

But during today's broadcast, the ringtone on Stelling's phone began to jingle out to the chorus of jeers and sneers from the panel who called him out for his lack of professionalism. The usual predictions were bandied about with most of the panellists suspecting that it was Stelling's wife.

And it seemed all assumptions were to be proven correct when Stelling coolly greeted his caller by saying: 'Hi darling. Yeah, I'm at work.'

On this occasion however, it wasn't a family member who intruded on the famous soccer pundit, but was in fact somebody from Sky Sports.
