In Cardiff at the fan village, Irish fans who were still in a good mood following an impressive win over Canada, but they clearly hadn't had their fill of celebrating just yet.
As Japan went over for a thrilling try in the dying stages to give them the win, a fan zone in Cardiff filled with Irish supporters went crazy as everyone's new favourite second team wrote their name into the history books.
