With the physical part of training all but finished ahead of this Saturday's UFC lightweight title defence, Eddie Alvarez has focused on getting his mind right for UFC 205's main event.
The Philadelphia native has been discussed being unphased by the Conor McGregor's mindgames and claimed that the fact that the Irishman mentioned his wife and children during a media conference call shows just how rattled he is.
The latest in the UFC's Embedded series features the 32-year-old putting the final touches on his preparation with some light sparring and in the video appears surprised with a new addition to his gym.
"A fan of Eddie custom made that for him and we put it on the wall to give him some extra motivation," Ricardo Almeida, Jiu Jitsu coach of the lightweight champion, said of the newly installed McGregor punching bag.
"We have Frankie [Edgar] and Eddie fighting two huge fights so we just want to keep everyone loose," he added.
