Leitrim came out on the right side of an 11-goal thriller in the Connacht Ladies Intermediate semi-final against rivals Roscommon in Charlestown.

Booking their spot in the July 3rd decider against Sligo, Leitirm captain Aine Tighe plundered four goals to overcome Roscommon, who fought back from ten points down.

The final score was 6-8 to 5-10, Leitrim prevailing by a single point.
