Ireland's win against Germany was a huge cause for celebration as the nation reveled in the unexpected success against the world champions.
Fans around the country were no doubt singing songs and chanting the name of Ireland's goalscorer, but given that it was such a unique occasion, the party went on into the wee hours of the morning in many places.
One of those places was Dublin's Camden Street, where jubilant Irish fans packed the streets, singing "olé olé olé" at 4.00 am. Despite the best efforts of the police to move the fans on, the party atmosphere could simply not be quelled.
Great craic had by all, except of course those people who have apartments on Camden Street...
