Each edition of Madden, the official game of the National Football league, is announced every year by an increasingly blockbuster ad, and this time they've pulled out all the stops.

The commercial features movie stars Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who find themselves needing to win a game of Madden to rescue a damsel in distress, which is when they decide to call in the big guns.

A cavalcade of NFL stars and coaches then appear in the video, with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick doing his best impersonation of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman (it's never explained), as well as some Bollywood-style dancing, not to mention Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan, Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers and of course, Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots.

It's odd, it makes no sense, but it's strangely intriguing.
